The estate comprises a total of 74 hectares, of which more than 50 are devoted to vineyards. To produce its white wines, Fillaboa uses indigenous yeasts selected from the estate itself, which lend the wines greater personality and authenticity. Masaveu Bodegas, in its quest to move forward and continue its relentless R&D&I efforts, has been investing and dedicating a large portion of its time and resources to research in the field and in the winery. Evidence of this can be seen in its experimental plots in Fillaboa, where other wine grape varieties such as Treixadura, Cai\u00f1o, and Loureiro, as well as its research, begun in 2016, on the production of sulfite-free white wines that ensure microbial and oxidative stability through the use of colloidal silver.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Likewise, small-scale vinifications are carried out in mini stainless-steel tanks for the purpose of conducting trials and research\u2014much like in a laboratory\u2014on all the details involved in winemaking that influence the wine\u2019s qualities. Furthermore, the winery has made progress in demonstrating the longevity of Albari\u00f1o wines aged on their lees exclusively in stainless steel tanks through trials and product launches, as was the case with La Fillaboa 1898 2010, which was aged for between 6 and 8 years. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
